What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | |

Well, they don't list Kansas there, but I don't think you can get more "middle" than that!

It's a bizarre quiz. People routinely ask me if I'm from New York, although I'm a born and bred Californian, but I get the same result you do. I call it the "newscaster accent," which is to say, none.
It would be interesting to film or tape people who took the quiz saying the words and compare.
Where else would you fit?
I should take it too ;)
No surprise, my results said Northeast. Makes sense since I've never lived outside of New York state. :)
I think we both have a future as radio personalities. haha
Hmm, It says I'm a Midwesterner. Guess my Iowa roots are showing. Hey, I'm a NATIVE Oregonian! LOL!
